In-text drawings by the author, hand coloured for this edition by Richard Beards who also designed the title page and cover/slipcase. Condition: Near fine book in near fine slipcase. Royal 8vo. 286pp. Double frontispiece and profuse coloured illustrations from original drawings. Very good internally, appears unopened and unread, clean tight sound square, no bookplate inscriptions or marks of any lind, clean crisp corners and edges, well held in joints and hinges. Beautifully bound in pictorial yellow cloth, featuring red yellow and blue wraparound illustration, excellent shelf presence. Housed and protected in like original slipcase, A delight for reader, scholar and collector alike, a welcome addition to any library.
