Slight wear to spine heel edge, trace wear to spine head edges, and a touch of wear to upper rear corner--all quite minor. Internals are As New. Binding tight , solid and square. An illustrated account of the opening up of the vast Canadian wilderness, stretching from the Great lakes to the Pacific Ocean. It was yielded with great reluctance to the French and British adventurers who went west in search of furs, then gold, and finally farmland. 240 pages with bibliography and index. 11.25 x 8.75 inches.
