The complete set of three vols of Chronicles, News of the Past, in original decorated card slipcase. The slipcase has some edge wear, bruising and minor damage to top and bottom and corners, two old tape marks to top front, small inscription to verso of slipcase. Some slight edge wear to top and bottom of dustjackets of all three vols, volumes One and Three have small scratch to spine, all three are internally clean tight and square, with the 26 'newspapers' in each vol in excellent almost unread condition. The past, presented in broadsheet newspaper form with sensational headlines such as 'Abram Comes Out of Furnace - Alive!', 'Rebels Wipe Out Rome's 22nd Legion' and 'Luther Censures Peasant's Revolt!', with period advertising 'Build Your House Roman Style'.
