Prices from volumes I and II have been removed and all three volumes have a B&W illustrated frontispiece. The dust jackets of all three volumes have rubbing, age toning to spine and light chipping to edges. Volume I jacket also has two small stains. Volume II has piece of jacket missing at back. Robinson met and wrote extensively on famous Romantic and early Victorian figures, with this collection focusing on his portraits of literary figures.
