Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. No Jacket. Book Club Edition. EASTON PRESS POEMS OF W.B. YEATS EDITED & INTRODUCED BY WM. YORK TINDALL 1976. Well, I guess I should have listed this book last year to coincide with St. Patrick s Day and the bright Irish Green leather covers should have reminded me. But alas, I am running behind. It is nevertheless my pleasure to offer for your consideration another gorgeous Easton Press leather-bound book from its series, The 100 Greatest Books Ever Written, in this case: The Poems of W.B. Yeats, selected, edited and introduced by William York Tindall, and illustrated with drawings by Robin Jacques. This medium-sized leather-bound book (6 ½ x 10 ½ inches, 135 pages) was published by the Easton Press of Norwalk, Connecticut, dated 1976. The Kelly Green leather covers are amply decorated with a gilt design and have gilt titles on the five-banded spine. The page edges are gilt all-round, the endpapers are in a lovely silk moire, and there is a gold satin page-marker bound-in. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. The leather covers are unblemished and unbumped and the gilt is bright and handsome. Inside, the pages and plates are clean and bright throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight, sound and square, barely read it would seem as it cracks on opening. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
