With lovely burgundy pastedowns and endpapers with ornate gilt castles, ships and RLS emblems in a repeat pattern. With a tissue protected frontispiece portrait in each volume. In very good condition, the covers and spines are a little rubbed and the paper title labels on the spines are grubby, internal contents very clean, one spot on index pages in vol II, else clean. The letters of Robert Louis Stevenson to his family and friends.
