This was the inaugural one-day match competition, then played over 65 overs each side, Sussex winning this by 14 runs. This copy is number 112 of a limited edition of 150, SIGNED by seven of the winning Sussex side 50 years before, namely Ted Dexter, Alan Oakman, Jim Parks, Ian Thomson, Tony Buss, Les Lenham and John Snow (the first four have died in recent years). Contributions to the booklet by six of those signatories as well as by John Barclay and the two editors, the inestimable duo of Roger Packham and the sadly late Nicholas Sharp.
