Gómara wrote of many different facets of Córtes' life, from smaller personal aspects to larger battles. This translation by Lesley Byrd Simpson was only the second translation to English of Gómara's work at the time. This copy features a vibrant yellow cover, with the only flaw being a medium sized rip on the cover. Good, with one medium sized rip.
