The compilation was first published in 1928 by Yale University Press. This second edition incorporates eleven new poems into Appendix A, helping to complete the Denham canon; includes a revision of pp. 50-53, which deal with the editions of Cooper's Hill and possible sources for the "Thames couplets"; and adds two tables of errata and addenda.
