Features a mix of full-color plates and finely rendered black-and-white illustrations throughout. Condition: Very Good. Cloth shows light rubbing and a touch of wear at crown and corners; hinges lightly stressed but still sound. Pages show gentle age toning with occasional faint handling marks, but remain clean and supple overall. Illustrations bright and well-preserved. A solid and attractive example of this early volume in the classic 12-book Treasury set. Edition/Printing: Copyright 1909; no later printings indicated, early printing, consistent with the period's standard practice of issuing undated reprints within the same year.
