An epistolary novel by a famous poet, written in the 1860's and published under a pseudonym because of its scandalous nature. This is the first and only unexpurgated version of the text. INSCRIBED BY THE EDITOR, E.J. SYPHER. A fine copy in cloth boards with gilt decoration. Slipcover has two one-inch tears, and some small chips.
