Royal octavo (9 9 1/2" x 6 1/2") bound in original publisher's gray cloth with green and black lettering to spine in original pictorial jacket. First edition. The primary purpose of this bibliography is to offer scholars interested in the future assessment of John Galsworthy a representative body of criticism of his works from 1897 through 1977. The present volume containing 2262 entries will add significantly to the work begun by H V Marrot and continued by E H Mikhail. As a result of their painstaking and diligent research, the editors have produced the most comprehensive of Galsworthy bibliographies to date. Condition: A near fine copy in like jacket.
