Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. Christian Nicholson (cover) (illustrator). Earl Birney was working on these 123 pages of poetry when he had a stroke and couldn't complete it. It contains `Threw Daw Kissed Ass Trial Yah !' (1968) , `Dear Biographer ' and `Canada: Case History: 1945' and approx. 57 others. Volume is crispy, tan in colour , presented in French flaps and is very collectible. Al Purdy did the Introduction. Quote (p. 18) : "._._._. Tuna twines or Porpoise loops no take-off that will set us loose to follow in the swallow's path no wingspread yet beyond the gauge of the Devil's callipers. " Size: 8vo.
