hardcover. Condition: Very good. Design and illustration by John Astrop and Eric Hall. Small square 24mo (approx. 5 5/8" wide by 5 3/4" tall) pictorial cover. 67 pages. Drink recipes interspersed with colorful art that is "psychedelic /pop-art" in style. A couple of light spots on cover, else very good. No dust jacket. 061507C.

Hardcover. Condition: As New. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. John Astrop and Eric Hill (illustrator). Square 12 mo., hardcover, as new in VG blue, orange, purple decorative dj. 67 pp. book selling on amazon for 300 or so in lousy condition. Must be scarce. author (wives) were married to Washington D.C. bigshots, one with Kennedy and one with NBC. discusses where the word "booze" came from plus 66 recipes for drinks from ambrosia to 007 and cures for boozers. sake on the rocks, ramos fizz, and some exotic ones like rusty nail, mother-in-law, kickapoo, dubonnet cocktail 1 and 2, black bull etc. all cleverly illustrated.

Boards are very good with just a touch of perimeter wear and two white spots, one on the front cover and one on the rear cover. Inside would be very good with the exception of loose string hinge. Seems to be entitled simply 'Booze' in a couple of places, but the title page says 'The Booze Book.' John Astrop and Eric Hill design and illustration. Nice copy of a scarce title, especially with the jacket. Jacket has a couple of short tears.
