Soft cover. Condition: Very Good+. First Edition. VG+/1st ed. This edition is an unabridged replication of the work originally published in 1911 as the Civil War Reminiscences of General Basil W. Dukes, with the addition of a new introduction by James A. Ramage. This copy is clean and the cover is uncreased, no marking to the interior or exterior. Tight binding. What keeps this from perfect is four pages that were folded over at the very top of the pages. 512pp. General Duke was the brother in law of Brigadier-General John Hunt Morgan, whom he replaced the raider's death. Duke also escorted Jefferson Davis from Virginia to Georgia at the war's end. Comes to you in an non acid document bag for storage. I can have this in the mail to you tomorrow. BASK.
