Vintage reference photograph from the 1940 comedy film, showing Claire Carleton (standing, center), Johnny Combs (standing, center right), and Frank Jenks (standing, right). With a later stamp on the verso reading "7 / OCT 26 49," and a small blindstamp near the same spot. Shot on location in Lake Mahopac and Hook Mountain, New York. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus, with a few pinholes and light wear at the margins.

Brown cloth-covered boards, 7 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches, 384 pp., b/w illustrations (frontispiece plate; 26 other plates; other illustrations in text). Very good (modest edgewear; focal, mild rubbing; gilt bright; modest spine slant; a little dust soiling, top edge of book block; gift inscription in neat pencil script, front free endpaper; with the exception of a few minor stains, pages are clean; a couple short edge tears; binding in good shape). Defects described in detail --- a nice copy.
