Volumes 1 and 2, 1934. Royal blue cloth with gilt lettering on front boards and spines. Some wear to cloth, particularly along joints, edges and at spine head/foot; corners bumped; vol. 1 has two small holes in front joint and small stains nearby on front board. Half-title and final pages browned; some foxing on pages surrounding illustration plates, but rest of text clean; some corners slightly bumped or creased. Bindings tight.
