Exterior black cloth is spotless. Silver lettering on the spine is clean and bright. No bumped corners or rubbing to edges. One tiny nick to the bottom edge of the back cover. The dust jacket is only very lightly soiled but has extensive whitish rubbing. There is also a 4" tear in the spine of the jacket. There are many small chips and tears along top and bottom edges, the deepest of which is about 1". Book and dust jacket will be bubble-wrapped and carefully packed in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit.
