Includes entries for various hand and power pumps, among them the "Double-Acting House Force Pumps," the "Deming 'Climax' Water System No. 2001," the "'Atlas Junior' Automatic Electric House Pumping Outfit," "Standard Hydro-Pneumatic Steel Tanks," and "Accessories for Deming Hydro-Pneumatic Systems," among others. Each entry includes at least one illustration, a description and a specifications table that includes a price. Includes many black and white illustrations, diagrams, and tables throughout. Printed on thick, slick paper. This catalog is still in very good condition. It has a few ex-library markings: there are "Reference" and "Catalog Library" stamps at the front cover; there is a "C2465" sticker in the upper right hand corner and "Ref" has been written in black in the left hand corner of the front cover; "Catalog Library Copy D" has been neatly written in ink across the top of both the front cover and the title page; there is an "Engineering Reading Room" stamp in blue at the top of the title page as well. A call number has been neatly written in pencil along the top of the spine on pages 3 and 5. Otherwise, pages are clean and free of writing. The crown and foot of the spine are slightly chipped. The top 1 1/2" of the first and final pages has torn. Otherwise, binding is tight and strong, with no loose pages.

The endpages are brown paper. With descriptions of the items for sale, tables of prices and specifications, and black & white illustrations throughout. 254 pages. In addition to the title, also stamped on the front cover is "Sydnor Pump & Well Co., Distributors Richmond, Virginia." The boards are rubbed, with some fading and chips to the fabric. They are bumped on the corners and the crown/foot of the spine. Front cover is slightly bowed. Some writing in pencil and ink is present on the front free endpaper; there is a "DSI" stamp on the back attached endpaper. With torn gutters at the title page and between pages 14-15. The rest of the volume is free of writing or marks. No loose or missing pages. A map of the canneries in Alaska, British Columbia and Washington operated by the Deming and Gould Company, who were influential in the growth of the Alaskan salmon trade. The map's date of printing, 1917, suggests that perhaps it was related to the war effort, as salmon demand increased during this period. The Demings, based in Chicago, were influential in the growth of the salmon trade in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest, founding Pacific American Fisheries Inc. in 1899 and continuing in various iterations until their sale of the firm in 1934 due to president E.B. Deming's ailing health. The map shows seventeen different canneries, several on the Alaska peninsula and the one in Bellingham. We find no record of this imprint, only a later and small version held at the University of Washington. Folding map measuring 38 ½ x 26 ¾ inches. Tape repairs to verso, some tears at folds and edges, still bring and attractive, good to very good overall with excellent restoration potential.
