The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. There is a dedication written on the top of the title page and the table of contents page shows some light foxing. The last end papers have a tiny chip on the top edge. The copyright page shows 1941 as the published date. The wood covers have hinges and laces with a color illustration of three bartenders on the front. The covers show light edgewear. This awesome old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
