He first described his experiences in a book called "Return Ticket". This is the full story of his life which is chiefly memorable for the story of his escape after the Battle of Arnhem. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.
