Inner hinges are secure, and the text is clean. Contains a folding map of Southern Africa. This book was part of a "Week-day School Series" It covers a lot of ground, so no section is discussed in depth. Still, it's a good overview of the history of the Christian Church, approached by way of those figures the author feels are important (either historically or morally). He begins with Paul, Anthanasius, and Augustine and ends with Robert E. Lee, Booker T. Washington, and Theodore Roosevelt.
