With deep blue cloth-covered boards stamped with an elaborate gilt decoration/lettering to front & spine, this hardcover small octavo is in VG+ condition: very clean & bright, binding strong & straight, but front hinge is nearly completely cracked. Pages creamy white with very mild tanning, but completely unmarked save for name & locale, 1878 date, of former owner, a reverend, in beautiful script to ffep.Slight pushing to both ends of spine, mild rubbing to extremities & corner bumping.
