Size 8.5 x 11.0 inches. In beige cloth covers with blue lettering to spine. With dustwrapper. In very good condition with dustwrapper. (DW. Spine darkened. Rubbed along edges. Nicks from corners and ends of spine. Not price clipped, but corners clipped. In protective cellophane wrapper.). Ends of spine and corners bumped. Tanning to endpapers. Inscription to front endpaper dated 1941. Else a clean and tight copy. 104pp. With 13 b&w photographs. Spitfire Pilot is the exhilarating and moving memoir of D. M. Crook, an airman in the legendary 609 Squadron - one of the most successful RAF units in the Battle of Britain.
