See my pic. 15.6 x 12.5cm. 150 pages. Dedication o/p in ink 'from CFG Lang Christmas 1904. With the author's compliments.' Many of the delightful sketches of Indian and Asian life (albeit un the guise as a fish or animal!) appeared first in various Indian papers i.e. The Asian, The Madras Mail, The Madras Times. He creates detailed colourful mind pictures as well as showing early 1900 society behaviour. Lovely book. Condition: Front cover stained, has not seeped through. Front, back and spine are suffering from age and handling discolouration. Wear on spine, rubbed on edges, wear on corners, boards showing slightly. o/p ghosted + dedication as mentioned. e/p ghosted on free page, paste down, some freckling + stain bottom edge. Free e/p + last page 150 , freckles. Outer edge of pages collectively discoloured with age. Internally, mostly clean, the odd freckle, but minor. Binding tight, little wear, good colour. Cover lets it down. Signed by Author(s).
