Hardcover/Hardback. Condition: Fair. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. Hardcover. Condition: Good. Lucky Forward by Col. Robert S. Allen. Published in 1947 by The Vanguard Press. Corners and edges of the spine rubbed. Dust jacket has tears, coloring on boards is mottled. Prior to the war Allen collaborated with columnist Drew Person on a book. During the second world war Allen served on Patton's staff as his chief intelligence officer. According to a book published in 2009 Allen was an agent for the KGB starting in 1933 which if true would be one of ultimate ironies of World War II, that the chief intelligence officer for one of the wars most prolific anti-communist generals was himself a Soviet agent.
