Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. This is the 1970 Doubleday hardcover with "First Edition" and LCCN 74-103738 on its copyright page. It is a fully readable ex-library book in good condition with a shelf-worthy very good jacket. Its library markings are: (1) stamps on top and bottom of text block, not extending onto page faces, (2) blacked-out stamp on its title page, not obscuring any text, (3) a partially blacked out "Property of U.S. Army" stamp on its copyright page, (4) "SALVAGE" stamps on its endpapers, (5) a "Fort Lewis Library System" sticker on its back endpaper, and (5) scrapes on its endpaper from removal of a card pocket. Its binding is sound, marred only by spine lean. Covers have edge wear and tape ghosts on outside top and bottom edges, but are otherwise unmarked and unworn, with bright silver titles on its spine. Pages are unworn and otherwise unmarked. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is bright and whole, marred only by a blacked-out price on its front flap, a very faint sticker ghost across the bottom of its spine (not obscuring any text), a small faint stain on its front flap fold, a trace of toning along its top edge, and light wear on the ends of its spine and flap folds. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.
