Illustrated throughout with colour reproductions of the marine paintings of Chris Mayger. Spine uncreased. 3 cm closed tear to foot of spine. As a result, the front cover is partially loose. Two black ink stains on the page facing plate 24. Fore edge of the first 10 or so pages lightly creased. Top and bottom corners of the fore edge of the front cover lightly creased. Covers slightly tanned. Overall, the book is in a good condition.

About 94pp, (9x11 inches), color illustrations. Very Good condition in wrappers (softcover).Two little spots on front cover, otherwise clean, tight, crisp, no bumps, tears or creases, no markings. Forty full page or 2-page color reqroductions of the paintings on heavy glossy paper. Sailing ships, steam ships, war ships, even a fighter plane and a submarine.
