No. 15 of an edition of 20, signed by the artist. Book object comprised of colour etchings in 8 panels, each 29.5 x 9.8 cms. Each etching is mounted on board with linen flexible joints allowing for each panel to be folded separately. The four rivers in this piece are Thames, Jordan, Huang and the Hudson, each depicted in the upper panels. The concept of this artist's book is that the four rivers can flow into the same sea, or not, depending on how the panels are placed. The important Chinese artist Paul Ching-Bor, b.1963, lived in Australia and from 1996 took up residence in New York. He has won many prizes and awards with solo exhibitions in Turkey, Ohio and Salzburg and has taken up many notable artist-in-residences in Austria, Germany and France. He has has several solo exhibitions both in American, Europe and Australia.
