The Engineer Field Manuals are designed to furnish technical information, describe the organization of engineer units, and outline typical procedures that may be followed in the conduct of the more common operations undertaken by engineers in the theatre of operations. Contents in Four Chapters: Engineer Troops and Operations, Communications Construction and Utilities, Defensive Measures, and Miscellaneous Data. G.C. Marshall is listed as Chief of Staff. All foldouts appear to be present and there are at least five are present. A book from the Jack McK. Pardee Collection. Mr. Pardee was a collector of Americana who focused on frontier and natural history, hunting, wildlife, and firearms and is noted not only for his book selections but for his careful handling and storage.
