Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. conceived by Peter Cherches and produced here in 1984 by Purgatory Pie press in New York, being the first letterpress edition after 15 handmade copies by the artists in 1981. Here signed by Cherches as well as by two others involved in the design team, Dikko Faust the printer and E.K. Smith the designer. Besides the book itself, this comes with uniquely made crayons, created for the project as well as a handful of loose blank Piet Mondrian outlines to fill in. Overall excellent condition. Some handling and storage wear to the book but clean and well bound. Crayons seemingly unused, with the blank pages remaining blank (the book came with an pre-filled example). Many blank cards to fill in A funny conceptual art approach to publishing, rare and signed. All sales help support an independent bookstore and art space in NYC. Signed by Author(s).
