Hardcover. Condition: Acceptable. Boards are loose and cover shows moderate wear and tear, edgewear and rubbing, soiling, tape on the spine, heavy erosion to the backstrip. Pages are lightly tanned with a few smudges and heavy underlining throughout. Scarce.

First book, and only fiction book, by this author, who was better known as 'Cheiro.' He was palm reader to the rich and famous, from the 1890s to the 1930s, and wrote many books, including True Ghost Stories, Hand of Fate, etc.
