Profusely illustrated with black-and-white engravings on wood from designs by William Harvey, plus two color floral pattern decorated front and rear endpapers. All pages are in fine condition and the spine is exceedingly tight and square. The blank verso of the first free front decorated endpaper contains a vintage 1893 date and neatly scripted previous owner signature. This is an extremely rare volume of this historic classic in amazingly well preserved condition.
