Pictorial Hard Cover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Gertrude A. Kay (illustrator). The cover has green cloth. Dark green lettering is on the spine strip. The title is on an illustrated pastedown on the front board. A linear 3/8 in. piece (child's shoulder) is missing from the illustration. The poems are grouped under two categories: In the Town and In the Country. All of the illustrations are graytone: 16 plates, illustrations at the head and toe of each poem, and decorative boarders in light tone. The cover's extremities have intermittent faded spots and a 1/8 in. threadbare spot from shelf wear. A bookplate is on the front pastedown. Five page margins each have a 1/8 in. stain. Two of the plates have wrinkles and closed tears on three margins; one also has a chipped corner. Scans e-mailed upon request.
