Hardcover. Condition: Good. Quarter brown leather, four raised bands, marbled boards and endpapers. Corners show modest wear, top and bottom of spine are frayed a bit, a few scuffs to leather on spine, large chip missing from lower section of spine. otherwise leather is supple and presentable, binding is tight, pages are very clean. A very nice copy overall.

Condition: Very Good. 316p large format hardback, dark green calf, gilt lettering and design to spine, very good condition, binding firm, light wear to edges and corners, a few pencil marks to endpapers, faint foxing throughout, all text clear and legible, forty engraved plates with very clear and sharp illustrations, an excellent copy of an uncommon title Language: French.
