Couverture rigide. Condition: Assez bon. Paris, Lottin l'aîné, 1766. 1 vol. in-8, [2] ff. (faux-titre et titre gravé), 39 pp. (approbation au v° du dernier feuillet), reliure époque plein veau havane marbré, double filet à froid d'encadrement sur les plats, dos lisse orné de filets, fleurons et du titre en long dorés, roulette d…orée sur les coupes, tranches rouges, 3 gravures dans le texte dont la 1ère est un des premiers portraits gravés de Louis XVI. Provenance : Ex libris de Marjou. Quelques rousseurs, une charnière fendue, usure aux coins, petit manque à la coiffe de tête, épidermes sur les plats, minuscules taches d'encre sur la partie inférieure du 1er plat. Barbier (III, 957, b) précise que l'ouvrage a été « réimprimé par les soins de Ch. Durozoir, Paris, imp. de P. Didot, 1816, in-8, 26 pp. ». Quélen fut connu plus tard comme Duc de La Vauguyon. Cioranescu (XVIII 2ème, I, 16480) ne mentionne pas les deux premiers feuillets non chiffrés. Cérutti, jésuite puis révolutionnaire, fut guillotiné à Paris le 3 février 1792. Le Duc de La Vauguyon fut le précepteur de Louis XVI.
