Condition: Collectible. FIRST. nFINE. LARGE, green embossed boards - red, gold, black designs and titling. FLAT SIGNED (as owned) by World Light Heavyweight Champion, ARCHIE MOORE on the ffep, May 1966. This Combat History of the USS Enterprise CVA N-65 Aircraft Carrier - serving in Viet NAm 1965-1966, was the 'yearbook' for the ship's crew. Archie Moore notes in his own hand, the date "May 1966", and "pp 210 a moore". At the location (actually pp 211) is a photo of Archie Moore in the ship's Control Room with officers in 1965, accepting a ship's patch. Moore supported the troops and did many USO visits to our military, here including the USS Enterprise during a home-bound cruise. An internet photo is tipped in for handwriting/signature comparison purposes. The book was discovered at an estate sale in Reno Nevada in 2014. It is a great memento of one of America's finest sports heroes, as he honored America's military/naval heroes in the line of duty. LARGE BOOK. USA MEDIA MAIL PURCHASE/DELIVERY ONLY. No AMAZON INTERNATIONAL SALE POSSIBLE DUE TO size/weight shipping costs. [B006] RARE SPORTS AUTOGRAPH.
