The interior is bright & crisp, unmarked save for a large gift inscription covering the entire ffep. Pages creamy white, woodcuts sharp. This is a lithographic reproduction of the original printing by Harold McGrath at Pennyroyal Press. Title page of titled book has a signature that we cannot discern. It is tiny and beautiful but unrecognizable. Otherwise, both volumes are PRISTINE. Gift worthy. Both volumes in a bright red buckram cloth cover on these hardbacks housed in a matching slip case.
