[94] unpaginated humorous world war two illustrations from Elmer Simms Cambell's regular comic panel, Cuties, that appeared in more than one hundred newspapers, syndicated by King Features. Jacket yellowed with sporadic stains and light soiling to covers. Small chip to bottom front cover. Sunning to inner flaps. Light rubbing to spine ends and edges. Small soil to top edge of rear board. Corners slightly bumped. A Coles stamp and second price stamp on front free endpaper, otherwise a very good copy.

Add to basketCondition: Very Good. Original signed pen and ink drawing on white paper. Approximately 30 x 31 cm. (including margins). Pinholes in corners where this was probably tacked up. Whiteout here and there to remove some shading and sharpen the image. One of his many cartoons featuring young and attractive white women. In this instance, a seated or reclining women comments to a just returned woman about the returned woman's disarranged hair. The cartoon was apparently sent to publications using King Features Syndicate's Campbell cartoons to appear on July 25, 1963.
