J'ai vecu des situations similaires, et j'ai ete bluffe par la precision des demarches. Le personnage de Mel incarne pour moi une forme de resistance legitime et profonde. La postface m'a vraiment surprise: on croit pouvoir passer a autre chose, apres la fin du roman et on tombe sur une nouvelle intrigue. Bluffant !Christiane UC'est agreable a lire, fluide, bien ecrit et j'ai toujours eu envie d'aller de l'avant. J'attends la suite avec impatience. D'une richesse de details et d'une grande delicatesse, le recit nous captive peu a peu. Sonia est un personnage qui arrive discretement et prend soudainement le controle du recit. J'etais assise dans le RER en direction de Paris lorsque j'ai decide de traduire quelques pages supplementaires de ce livre. Par coincidence, j'etais au chapitre Chantage . J'ai ete surprise par un moment particulierement fort et j'ai fondu en larmes, peut-etre parce que j'avais cree un lien avec le personnage ou simplement parce que j'ai peur de la mort. La lecture de ce roman, alors que je travaillais a sa traduction dans une autre langue, a ete un tres fort moment auxquels je ne m'attendais pas.
