Covers have light edge and surface wear, with some darkening at the head of the spine where the dust jacket is chipped and with some exterior foxing and soiling at the top and bottom edges. Interior in excellent condition. Prints bright and undamaged, although the paper is a light cream rather than pure white. 18-page introduction, 24 leaves of plates. Color-illustrated dust jacket has overall surface rubbing, chipped and nicked edges, small to half-inch tears, and creases, especially at the top edge; illustrated front panel in good condition. Glassine outer cover is tattered, missing up to an inch of the top edge and some small pieces at other edges; it is affixed to the front flap of the jacket. Back flap of glassine cover had a crease at top corner. Plates made, printed, and bound in Germany by K. G. Lohse, Frankfurt am Main. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
