Hardcover small octavo has bright yellow decorative cloth over green quarter-cloth-covered boards. Condition is VG, though the binding is cracking at rear hinge, appears reglued at front hinge. Max & Maurice, The Story of Two Rascals in Seven Pranks appears to have been written and illustrated by Wilhelm Busch and then translated into English by Walter Roome. The book was published by Mansfield Book Mart, Publishers in 1961 and is a First English Language Edition. It's not an ex-library copy and is in good condition with pages beginning to yellow and a spine that I'll be putting a dab of glue into after I finish this blurb. It has no dust jacket since it's a trade paperback book. The book is 5" by 8 1/2" and has 56 pages with black-and-white illustrations throughout. It's a neat little book. Thank you!
