There is also a small area of fraying at the head of the spine, and some rubbing at the tail. There is a bit of foxing to all three edges. There is an old-looking private book plate on the front paste-down, along with a small, oblong seller's label (Rowland Ward Ltd, 166 Piccadilly, London). The opening leaves are a little creased along their right-hand edges.
