First Edition. [Music] FIRST AMERICAN EDITION. Duodecimo in half-sheets (15 x 10cm), pp.138. Publisher's red quarter morocco with gilt titles to spine, and pain pasteboards. Plain small bookplate to front pastedown. Black ink ownership to half-title. Light occasional spotting. Moderate wear to binding, with marks and stains to boards. Rubbing to spine head and tail. Very good. A successor to the famous 'Pianoforte Primer' (1818), first published in 1819.
