Letters on the wonders of nature set within Christian themes.Rev. Erastus C. Burr, sometime Episcopal rector of St. Bride's Parish, Norfolk, Virginia. Meanderings and musings upon the mountain regions, with mentions of Caltha Swap, Tor Lake, the Monastery of the Walnut Trees, Needle Rock, Cleft Rock, the South Mountains, Glad Stream Farm, etc. Written as a series of letters to "Wallie," whom may have been a nephew.
