Condition: Good. Beautifully rebound (The Old Ride Memorial Library) in full red leather with gilt titles and top edge. 5 raised bands. Light wear to covers. Uneven and foxed foredge with foxing extending onto pages in places. Otherwise contents clean and unmarked.

Hard Cover. Octavo, pp. viii, 296. Frontispiece and 7 further plates. Prize binding of full polished burgundy calf, with 5 raised bands, black label with gilt titles to spine, and gilt decoration to compartments; gilt border to boards and board edges with gilt armorial of Coleshill Grammar School to upper board and in blind border to dentelles. All edges marbled; marbled endpapers. Very light foxing to prelims; prize bookplate to pdep. A clean, neat copy; Near Fine condition. Handsome prize binding containing 44 short biographies including Sir Thomas More, John Bunyan and Edward Jenner.
