Nancy Ekholm Burkert is an American artist and illustrator whose most celebrated work is the picture book Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1972), a New York Times Notable Book and a Caldecott Honor Book. James and the Giant Peach was her first illustration work. This is Dahl's second book after Gremlins. First Edition, First Issue. American edition precedes the Birtish and is the first issue with 5-line colophon stating "Bound by H. Wolff, New York.".
