Followed by two page synopsis of the film. Peter Bart is an American film producer who was working as an executive at Paramount Pictures when the letter was written. Paul Kohner (1902-1988) was a Czech-born American talent agent and producer who managed the careers of many stars of the golden age of Hollywod. In 1938 he founded the Paul Kohner Talent Agency. Typed letter signed, dated September 18, 1986, on Paramount Picture letterhead from Peter Bart to Paul Kohner: 'We have read 'the Milky Way' and discussed it with our distribution people as well. We would not be interested in making a deal for English Language distribution rights at this time. However, we would be glad to see the film when it is completed and, if you wish, discuss the film with you once again at that time, Sincerely, Peter'.
