Tak osobnich, ze mi trvalo dost let, nez jsem se prinutil je vytahnout z deniku, cetnych poznamek, kalendaru i z volnych listku a v ponekud specificke forme ventilovat. Ostatni moje knihy byl…y spise faktografickym, neosobnim vypravenim o mych vypravach a expedicich. Tato kniha naopak seskupuje mnozstvi basni, ktere vznikaly v prubehu mnoha let, a zazitku do znacne miry silne subjektivnich. A protoze jsem pri vypravach a expedicich dost zakusil a protoze si clovek takove veci instinktivne nechava radeji pro sebe (za coz jsem byl kritiky nekdy kritizovan), pokladal jsem za vyloucene, ze bych se pri psani vyhnul nepristojnym vylevum svych citu. Knihu jsem rozdelil do ctyr casti (svetovych stran). Kazda svetova strana reprezentuje urcitou cast sveta. Vychod je ovlivnen spise buddhistickou filozofii, jih a sever reprezentuji emoce a zazitky z antarktickych a arktickych expedic, zapad se venuje existenci v nasi soucasne spolecnosti. At je to jak chce, dokoncil jsem, co jsem si predsevzal. Knizka prinasi prostou pravdu o mne, mych citech, vjemech, zazitcich, zkusenostech a poznani.
