hardcover. Condition: Good +. Dust Jacket Condition: good +. first edition. Illustrated by Kurt Wiese. Octavo, turquoise cloth covers with black pictorial design and orange titles. Spine a little faded. Former owner name on front free endpaper had been covered with white-out. Dust jacket has a couple of small holes on top panel, a little wear at edges. A couple of pages have some small tears at edges. "Alexander was the smallest monkey the Captain and his wife had ever seen, six inches tall, and six inches more for his tail." Studio.
